News Release: 8 More Drop Off Locations for Blanket Orange County
Chapel Hill, NC (11-19-10) — Six businesses and organizations have offered support for Blanket Orange County by serving as drop off locations.
There are now 12 in all: 1 in Carrboro, 1 in Hillsborough and 10 in Chapel Hill.
New and gently used blankets can be dropped off between now and December 3 at:
- Carrboro Design Co-op – 103 W. Weaver Street, Carrboro
- Cedar Ridge High School – 1125 New Grady Brown School Road, Hillsborough
- Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce – 104 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill
- Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA – 980 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Chapel Hill
- Children’s Center at Carol Woods – 7511 Sunrise Road, Chapel Hill
- H2Only Cleaners – 2 locations – in Southern Village and on Elliott Road, Chapel Hill
- Orange County Visitor’s Bureau – 501 W. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill
- UNC Wellness Center at Meadowmont – 100 Sprunt Street, Chapel Hill
- University United Methodist Church – 150 E. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill
- UPS Store – 2 locations in Meadowmont Village and on 15-501, Chapel Hill
Cash donations are also accepted. 100% will be used to purchase blankets locally.
