News Release(Chapel Hill, NC 12/6/2010): 220 More Blankets Needed for 20 degree temps
Blanket Orange County reports that 180 blankets have been collected and 220 more are needed to fill all requests.
New and gently used blankets can be dropped off at these locations on or before Friday, December 10.
In Carrboro: Carrboro Design Co-op at 103 W. Weaver Street
In Hillsborough: Cedar Ridge High School at 1125 Grady Brown Road
In Chapel Hill:
- Chamber of Commerce– 104 S. Estes Drive
- YMCA – 980 MLK Jr Boulevard
- Children’s Center at Carol Woods – 7511 Sunrise Road
- H2Only Cleaners – in Southern Village
- H2Only Cleaners – 400 Elliott Road Extension
- Orange County Visitor’s Bureau – 501 W. Franklin Street
- UNC Wellness Center – 100 Sprunt Street
- University United Methodist Church – 150 E. Franklin Street
- UPS Stores – 1289 N. Fordham Blvd (next to Holiday Inn on 15-501)
- UPS Stores – in Meadowmont
